7,5 cm Pak 41. ACE 1:72

The Pak 41 was designed by Krupp AG to compete with the Rheinmetall 7.5 cm Pak 40. Based in the Gerlich principle to increase shot velocity, the Pak 41 incorporated several novel features like, tungsten ammunition, barrel with three distinct sections and the attachment of the split trail legs and solid rubber tires directly to the gun shield to save weight. Only 150 Pak 41's were produced.
This is my first ACE's model and, although the main problem are the burrs, it is a nice and easy model to make.

  2. Pedro,

I really like the way you painted this anti-tank gun, it looks realistic. The tools and range markers adds a good splash of color. I also like the worn shinny metal showing on the breach.

  3. Gracias/thanks.

The model is more small than you can see. The worn shinny metal was made using a pencil.
